You own a home care agency. Does it own you?
I ran a home care agency for 11 years and sold it in 2025. Send me your numbers and your three biggest headaches. In two weeks you get a 90-minute working session, then a written second opinion with a 90-day plan you can run. $4,500. Not available to agencies in the Dallas-Fort Worth region.

I know what your Tuesday looks like too.
A caregiver called out at 6:40am. You covered it or your scheduler did, and either way it cost you an hour before you sat down. A family wants a discount. The hospital discharge planner who used to send you two clients a month has gone quiet. Your best caregiver is asking about a raise you can't quite afford and can't afford to lose. Payroll is Friday.
You have a business that pays you, most months. It just doesn't run without you.
You have read the books. You have been to the franchise conference or the association webinar. You've had a coach or two. Most of it was fine. None of it was written for your exact situation by someone who lived it.
Most advice for owners comes from people who never owned one.
Franchise field reps have a franchisor to answer to. Brokers get paid when you sell, whether or not you should. Software vendors want you on their platform. Coaches, mostly, have never made payroll on a Friday with two clients in the hospital.
None of that makes them wrong. It means every one of them has a stake in what they tell you.
I don't. I sold my agency. I have no franchise, no software, no placement fees, no listing to earn. My only interest is whether the plan I hand you works, because you're going to tell other owners either way.
What a Second Opinion actually is.
1. The intake
You send me your key numbers (billable hours, client count, caregiver count, turnover, referral sources, hourly rate and pay rate), a simple org chart, and your three biggest pains, in your words. Takes you about an hour. It's a form, not a spreadsheet exercise.
2. The working session
90 minutes on video, recorded, about a week after your intake. We go through your numbers and your three pains together, you tell me what the numbers can't, and you push back. Bring your spouse or your operations lead if they run half of it.
3. The written Second Opinion and 90-day plan
Within 7 business days of the session, one document: where the money is actually going, what the margin says about your rate and pay structure, whether your referral base is concentrated in a way that should scare you, what your staffing numbers are telling you, and the three moves to make, in order, with what "done" looks like for each and the number we'd expect to move. No fluff, no slide deck.
4. The 30-day check-in
One 30-minute call at the 30-day mark to see what moved, what didn't, and what to adjust next.
This is for you if…
- You own a non-medical home care agency, independent or franchised, doing roughly $500K to $5M a year
- The business pays you but does not run without you
- You're at a fork: grow, sell, add a service line, fire a manager, change the rate card, and you want a second set of eyes from someone with no stake in the answer
- You've been "thinking about selling" for more than a year and nobody has told you what a buyer will actually look at
- Your agency is outside the Dallas-Fort Worth region
This is not for you if…
- Your agency operates in or serves the Dallas-Fort Worth region. I don't take work there, and I'll say so on the fit call before you pay anything.
- You want someone to run the agency, manage your staff, or be on call. I don't do that anymore. I'll tell you how to build the person who does.
- You're looking for a licensing, compliance, legal, tax, or accounting opinion. I'll tell you when you need one of those and what to ask. I don't give them.
- You want a cheerleader. You'll get a straight answer.

What I'm bringing to your table.
I built Living Well Senior Care in 2014 and ran it for 11 years to multi-seven figures. We cared for more than a thousand families. I made every mistake on your list, including the ones you haven't hit yet: the caregiver who was stealing hours, the referral source that was 40% of revenue until it wasn't, the year I paid myself last, the office manager I kept 18 months too long.
In June 2025 I sold it. Clean exit, buyer still running it. I know what a buyer looks at, because I sat across from one for months.
Before home care I spent years in sales and marketing. I know how to find revenue when the pipeline dries up. Today I buy and operate commercial real estate. I'm not looking for a job in your agency. I'm looking at your numbers with nothing to sell you afterward.
I take no referral fees, no software commissions, no broker splits. If I tell you to sell, buy, hire, or fire, it's because the numbers say so. Nobody pays me but you.

The Owner Hour
Sixty minutes, one problem, straight answer. You send me a short intake (the problem, the numbers around it, what you've tried) 48 hours before the call. You get the call, the recording, and a one-page note from me within 2 business days with what I'd do and why.
Good for: a rate increase you're scared to make, a manager you can't decide about, an offer from a buyer, a referral source that just dried up, a caregiver pay problem, "should I add [service line]."
If you book the full Second Opinion within 30 days, the $750 comes off the price.
Four steps. About three weeks.
- Apply. A short form: who you are, where the agency is, revenue range, what's going on. I read every one myself.
- 15-minute fit call. Free. I confirm you're outside the restricted area, that I can actually help, and that you want the straight version. If it's not a fit I'll tell you and point you somewhere useful.
- Book and pay. $4,500 at booking. You get the intake form and pick your working session date, about a week out.
- Intake, working session, written Second Opinion and 90-day plan, 30-day check-in.
Owner Hours skip steps 1 and 2. Book directly, send the short intake, show up.
Questions
Is this coaching?
No. Coaching is ongoing and mostly about you. This is a fixed-scope review of your agency with a plan at the end. If you want ongoing support after the plan, Owner Hours are there. I don't sell programs.
Where can't you work?
The restricted area is Denton, Cooke, Grayson, Collin, Dallas, Tarrant, Wise, Montague, Jack, Parker, Johnson, Ellis, Kaufman, Rockwall, Hunt, and Fannin Counties in Texas. If your agency serves any of them, I can't work with you on the business, and I'll say so before you pay. Family-side care navigation is a different service and isn't restricted.
I'm a franchisee. Does this work for me?
Yes. I'll work inside your franchise agreement, not around it. I'm not going to tell you to break your royalty structure. I will tell you what's yours to control and what isn't.
Will you look at my medical or home health agency?
This is built for non-medical home care. Home health and hospice have different economics and licensing; if that's you, book an Owner Hour and I'll tell you honestly whether the review applies.
What do I have to send you?
Your key numbers, a rough org chart, and your three biggest pains. No client names, no caregiver personal information, no protected health information. I'll tell you exactly what to strip.
Is this confidential?
Yes. Your financials and your situation stay between us. I don't share, sell, or reference your agency to anyone, and I won't use your numbers in content without your written permission.
What if I disagree with the review?
Tell me. The working session is where we argue it out before anything is written, and the 30-day check-in is there too. If the written Second Opinion misses something material because I misread your numbers, tell me within 7 days and I'll revise it once at no charge.
Refunds?
Full refund any time before your working session. Once the session starts, none. That's where the work begins.
Can you tell me what my agency is worth?
I can tell you what a buyer will look at and roughly how they'll think about it, from having been on the seller's side. I'm not a licensed appraiser or a business broker and this isn't a valuation. If you need one, I'll tell you what kind to get.
Do you take equity, referral fees, or a cut of the sale?
No. Never.
Booking means the Client agrees to the Owner Advisory Agreement, including the Restricted Territory warranty. You'll confirm the key points with four checkboxes before you pay.
